Darby Metal Treating is one of the rare heat treating shops that maintains major accreditations across multiple industries. While we serve multiple industries, the aerospace and automotive industries standout among the others as those looking for only highly qualified and rigorously audited suppliers. DMT maintains both a Nadcap (aerospace) accreditation and an IATF:16949 (automotive) accreditation, which also encompasses several ISO requirements. We’ve also completed the automotive industry’s CQI-9 self-assessment audit.
Additionally, suppliers are always looking to diversify their supply chains, and to that end, DMT has received the National Women’s Business Enterprise Certification from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. This included a rigorous certification process to verify that DMT is both a women-owned and managed business.
